For the Pupil
It’s 40 minutes of fun. Offered 2-3 lunchtimes per week. An alternative for children who would, for whatever
reason, rather not use the playground
When children choose Oasis they find what they need :
• a welcome
• fun in constructive play
• a place they would visit again

For the School
In practical terms it reduces the number of children in the playground, creating more space outside and providing an absorbing, fun-filled alternative to what could be disruptive, unproductive play.
It equips children with constructive solutions for enjoying themselves, problem solving and, most importantly, dealing with their
own behaviour and that of others.
The clever use of engrossing games helps them to build confidence and develop social skills through a strategy of positive
mentoring.
An opportunity to interact with children positively, in a play setting.
Subtly influence playground behaviour behind the scenes, while also offering visible support to those children who need it.
